BAKER, MARY J. - At Harper's Ferry, W. Va., Friday, February 14th, 1936, at 6:45 
o'clock a.m., Mary J., widow of Albert S. Baker.

Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, Nos. 610-612 East 
Freemason Street, Norfolk, Va., to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for services 
Monday morning at 10 o'clock.  Friends of the family are invited to attend.  
Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.

MRS. MARY J. BAKER - Funeral services for Mrs. Baker, whose death occurred Friday 
at Harpers Ferry, W. Va., were held at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church, with the Rev. Leo J. Ryan, S. T. D., officiating.  The 
Rev. Michael J. Cannon, of Harpers Ferry; the Rev. Leonard Koster, of Alexandria; 
the Rev. Nicholas Habets, the Rev. Martin Quinn and the Rev. J. O. Schmidhauser 
were present in the sanctuary.  At the conclusion of the mass, Father Cannon paid 
a high tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased.  There was a 
large attendance and many floral offerings.  The casket was covered with a pall 
of Easter Lilies, sweet peas and fern.  During the service, Mrs. R. P. Smith sang 
"Abide With Me," with Mrs. C. R. Davies, accompanist.

A delegation from Ava Maria Circle No. 567, Daughters of Isabella, was in 
attendance.  Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Services at the grave were 
conducted by Rev. Leonard Koster.  Pallbearers were E. L. MacNeil, G. E. Keefe, 
Jr., Edgar Hitchins, Dr. John Alexander, J. L. Nelson, William A. Bramberry, A. 
M. Traugott and R. M. Jamieson.
