A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Belden and Mrs. Ella Elizabeth Brown, the widow of Herbert Baker and a member of New Central Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Samuel Baker and Melvin O. Baker; and two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Johnson and Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Woodard, of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in St. Mark’s Christian Church by the Rev. H. C. Benjamin. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Hairston Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, in charge. Additional Comments: Mt.
