Virginian Pilot January 23, 1957

Harry H. Baker, 60, of 623 Fairfax Ave., died in a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 
6:33 p.m. after a short illness. He was a native of Nansemond County and had 
lived in the Norfolk section all his life. He was a son of the late Clarence 
Eugene and Mrs. Josephine Joyner Baker. 
He was a member of  Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, of the South Norfolk Moose 
Lodge and of the South Norfolk Lodge, Knights of Pythias.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cora Davis Baker; a daughter, Mrs. A. Page Ware Jr. 
and two brothers, Claude D. Baker and Fred W. Baker, all of Norfolk; a sister, 
Mrs. C.L. Larrimore of New York City and two grandchldren.
The body was taken to the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley, where funeral services 
will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. The place of burial will be announced 
later.
