Gladys Vail Baldridge, 94, died April 26, 1990, in a nursing home. 

Mrs. Baldridge, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Henry H. Baldridge. She 
had retired from F.S. Royster Guano Co. She was a member of Ghent United 
Methodist Church. 

Survivors include a son, John L. Davis Sr. of Portsmouth; and two grandsons. 

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. Robert C. Hastings in. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
