The Virginian Pilot Monday March 16, 1964
Mrs. Lois Vernell Amiss Baldwin, 41, of 1444 W. 48th St., wife of Alfred C 
Baldwin and daughter of Joseph G. and Mrs. Katie Ann Blackman Amiss, ,died in a 
hospital Saturday at 6:45 p.m.
A native of Richmond, she lived in Norfolk for 22 years. She was a member of 
Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Larry Ortiz of Los 
Angeles, Calif. and Miss Vera Sue Baldwin of Norfolk; three sons, Alfred W. 
Baldwin, William J. Baldwin and James A Baldwin, all of Norfolk; a sister Mrs. 
Elizabeth Wade of Norfolk; and two grandchildren. 
A funeral service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 p.m. 
by the Rev. Russell G. Flaxman of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church. Burial 
will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
