She was the daughter of the late William Barrow Windley and Margaret Walker Windley. She was a graduate of Maury High School and attended the Norfolk Division of the College of William and Mary. Margaret was deeply involved with her church and was one of the co- founders of the "Church Mouse" at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Norfolk.She was predeceased by her loving husband, Rufus Guy Baldwin, Jr. Survivors include two sons, Rufus Guy Baldwin, III of Norfolk, Virginia and Barrow Windley Baldwin of London, Ontario, Canada; three grandchildren, R. Guy Baldwin of Castro Valley, California, Brian Couper Baldwin of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Julia Anne Baldwin of Guelph, Ontario, Canada; and two great granddaughters, Emily Jane Berry-Baldwin of Guelph, Ontario, Canada and Brianna Elizabeth Baldwin of Castro Valley, California.A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 26, 2014 in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk by the Reverend Fr. John Rohrs. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Episcopal Church Women of St. Andrew's, 1004 Graydon Ave., Norfolk, VA 23507.
