Virginian-Pilot  May 20, 1940
Anne Romona Ballance, nine months, of 1122 Brambleton Avenue, died at a local 
hospital this morning at 3:50 o'clock.  She was a native of Milwaukee, Wis., and 
had resided in Norfolk for eight months.
She is survived by her mother and father, Columbus C. and Ruth Virginia Baker 
Ballance.
The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home, 124 East Berkley Avenue, where 
funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Burial will 
be in St. Mary's Cmetery.
