Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, April 2, 1994

Margaret Ford Ballard died March 31, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Ballard, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of William Straughn Ballard 
and the daughter of the late Stephen Turner Ford and Lillian Forrest Ford 
Williams. She was a member of Christadelphian Chapel in Norfolk.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William Kemp Norman of Norfolk; a half 
sister, Betty-Cornelia Williams Ghent of Norfolk; a half brother, William 
Vernon Henry Williams of Florida; one grandson, John Fredrick Winter II of 
Richmond; and two great-grandchildren, Claiborne McDowell Winter and John 
Fredrick Winter III, both of Richmond.

A private graveside service will be conducted at noon today in Elmwood 
Cemetery, Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to charity of choice. H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
