Irene Brown Ballback, 80, of the 700 block of Oriole Drive, died Dec. 22, 1996, in 
a local hospital.
Mrs. Ballback was a native of New York City.  She was the widow of Leonard J. 
Ballback, Sr.
Survivors include her son, Leonard J. Ballback, Jr., of Virginia Beach; and three 
grandchildren, Ilona W. Brunner, Sarah A. Ballback and William G. Webb, II.
A service will be conducted at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to 
the American Heart Association.
