Ballentine, wife of W. D. Ballentine and eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Tripple, died very suddenly last night at her home on Granby Street, having been taken ill at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. She was completely prostrated at the beginning of the attack and did not regain consciousness, although she had the assistance of three physicians and two trained nurses. She was well in the early part of the day. The deceased was a most estimable and lovely young women, being only 29 years of age, and her demise was is a great shock to her family and friends. She leaves two children one about 3 years of age and the other only six weeks old, and besides her husband and parents, she is survived by three sisters, Misses Minnie, Essie and Carrie Tripple and two brothers Henry and Webster. The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon at 5 o’clock from the residence, No. 609 Granby Street.
