Mrs. Libby V. Ballree, 59, of 2404 Azalea Garden Road, widow of William R, Ballree 
and daughter of Jewrry and Mrs. Nancy Melton, died at 12:15 p.m., Saturday in a 
hospital.
A native of Alberene, she lived in Norfolk for 29 years.
Surviving are a step-son, Robert R. Detterman, of Norfolk; three brothers, George 
E. Melton, William H. Melton and Robert Lee Melton, all of Alberene; and a 
grandson.
A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Tuesday at 2 
p.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Ballree, Mrs. Libby V. - At a local hospital, Saturday, Nov. 16, 1963, at 12:15 
p.m., Mrs. Libby V. Ballree, widow of William R. Ballree and daughter of the late 
Jerry and Mrs. Nancy Melton, died in the 60th year of her age.  A funeral service 
will be held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m.  
Friends of the family are invited to attend.  Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
