Bamberger, aged 39, son of Joseph P., and the late Ellen A. Bamberger, died at 12:45 o'clock yesterday morning at Mt. Regis Sanatorium at Salem. He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. Besides his father, he is survived by five sisters, Mrs. E. J. Doran, of Norfolk; Mrs. M. F. McMahon and Mrs. Louis Rueger, of Richmond; Mrs. James I. Barry, of New York, and Mrs. L. D. Finley, of Norfolk, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the residence of his brother-in-law, E. J. Doran, 2-B Armistead Bridge Court Apartments, 800 West Princess Anne Road, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. And Gov. Potts calls our attention to a ball player's final out in today's paper. Ed (Chicken) Bamberger died yesterday. Not so long ago, Ed Bamberger was a credit to amateur sport in Norfolk, a first-class catcher at Maury and later a star with the Red Men and other semi-pros. Gov. says Ed Bamberger was all wool and a yard wide. Is there greater tribute? The remains of Mr. Bamberger, whose death occurred Wednesday at Mt. Regis Sanatorium, Salem, will be taken from the residence of his brother-in-law, E. J.
