Norfolk Landmark December 28, 1897
The funeral of Miss Emma Banks, daughter of the late Rev. H. H. Banks, took place 
yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Grace Baptist Church, and was conducted 
by the pastor, the Rev. L. R. Wright. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. She 
died Sunday morning at the residence of her brother-in-law, Mr. R. A. Lumber, on 
Cumberland street, aged 34 years.
