A funeral service was held Tuesday for Mrs. Martha Banks, 72, of 1867 Sandalwood 
court, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. R. T. Adams officiating.

Fitchett’s Funeral Home was in charge of the burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Mrs. Banks was a native of Norfolk County, daughter of Frank Wilson and Mrs. 
Almeta Wilson, and the widow of Charlie Banks.

A member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, she lived in Norfolk for 45 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mable Lashley and Mrs. Bertha Brothers, both 
of Norfolk.
