James Henry Banks, 57, of 1200 D avenue, was given last rites May 7 at E. A. 
Hughes Funeral Home by the Rev. J. T. Jones, pastor of Zion Light Christ 
Disciples Church. Burial was in Paige cemetery.

Mr. Banks died May 3 in a Norfolk hospital after a short illness. A son of Mrs. 
Viola Banks and the late Henry Banks, Mr. Banks was a native of Washington, NC. 
He lived in Norfolk 25 years.

He is survived by five nephews and three sisters.
