Mr. Herbert L. Banks, who resided at 1428 Atlantic avenue, died March 31 at a
local hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were held at the Fitchett
Funeral Home chapel April 6, with Rev. R. T. Adams, pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist
Church officiating. He was the son of Mrs. Martha Banks and the late Charlie Banks.

His survivors are three brothers, Floyd Banks, Charlie Banks and Henry Banks;
two sisters, Mrs. Mable Lashley and Mrs. Bertha Brothers.

Interment was in Mount Olive Cemetery.
