Francis Patrick Bannon "Frank" passed away November 15, 2021 in his home after a 
brief illness. He was born in Norfolk, VA on November 26, 1940. He attended 
Catholic school for his education. After high school, he joined the Army. Frank 
was a maintenance electrician for the Ford Motor Co. for over 30 years. He also 
co-owned Doc's Pizza and Mic's Pancake House in Ocean View with his brothers.

Frank is survived by his three children, Patrick Bannon III (Debbie), George 
Bannon (Keri), and Christine Barnes. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 3 
great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and their spouses and 2 sisters and their 
spouses. He was predeceased by a sister and his beloved wife, Geraldine Frances.

A gathering and viewing with family and friends will take place on Monday, 
November 22, 2021 at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, from 6:00 PM - 
8:00 PM. A funeral will be held at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, on 
Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered to the family at
