William J. "Bill" Barbarisi, 55, of the 8000 block of Chesapeake Blvd., died July 
10, 2001, in his home.
Mr. Barbarisi was born in Norfolk and was the son of the late Angelina M. Durr and 
Amelio A. Barbarisi.  Bill was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Norfolk 
and was a retired plumber from the City of Norfolk and the owner and president of 
WJB Plumbing, Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Louise McKinney Barbarisi of Norfolk; his two 
daughters, Mary Louise Barbarisi of Washington, DC, and Sara Louise Barbarisi of 
Norfolk; two sons, George Anthony Barbarisi and David William Barbarisi, both of 
Norfolk; two sisters, Katherine B. Brett of Chesapeake and Louise B. Rozos of 
Norfolk; two brothers, Amelio Barbarisi of Jacksonville, FL and Charles Durr of 
Norfolk; and his father-in-law, George McKinney.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Monsignor Santiago Frias.  The family will receive 
friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children, 317 
Chapel St., Norfolk.
