He was a native of Italy and a resident of Norfolk 27 years, residing at 305 West 27th Street at the time of his death. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Roma Lodge No. 254, OSIA. Besides his wife and father, he is survived by two daughters, Misses Katherine M. and Louise Ann Barbarise; two sons, Amelio A. Barbarise, Jr., and William J. Barbarise, all of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. Edith White, Mrs. Jean Spivey, of Norfolk, and Mary Kelly, of Florida; one brother, Ralph Barbarise, of Norfolk. He was the son-in-law of Alfred P. Minutolo, of the Norfolk Fire Division. The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments tonight at 8:15 o’clock.
