Virginian Pilot May 22, 1956

Mrs. Angelina Constance Barbarise, 63, wife of Ralph Barbarise and daughter of 
the late Lewis and Mrs. Eugenia De Benedictis died yesterday at 1 p.m. at the 
residence, 8562 Chesapeake Blvd.
Mrs. Barbarise was a native of Italy and had been a resident of Norfolk for 37 
years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Roma Lodge and of 
Cuore Maria.
Besides her husband, Ralph Barbarise, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. 
David Kelley, of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Clarence Phelps, Mrs. E.W. White and Mrs. 
Vincent R. Morello of Norfolk; two sons, Ralph Barbarise and Joseph Barbarise, 
of Norfolk; 18 grandchildren; one brother, Olle De Benedictis, of Suffolk; and a 
sister, Mrs. E. Spoletime, of Philadelphia, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church, Ocean View, for funeral services tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Burial 
will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral 
apartments, tonight at 7:30 o'clock.

MRS. ANGELINA CONSTANCE BARBARISE - Funeral services for Mrs. Barbarise, wife of 
Ralph Barbarise, who died Monday at the residence, 8562 Chesapeake Blvd., were 
conducted at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, yesterday at 9:30 a.m. by 
the Rev. Paul Gaughan.  Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Pallbearers were D. 
Ciola, J. Vita, A. Nocella, G. Fortin, F. Montagna and T. Dinofa.
