Indian River Road died Thursday at 1 a.m. at Keyser Nursing Home after a long illness. A native of New Bern, N.C., she lived in Norfolk 60 years. She was a member of the Grand United Order of Tents, the Silver Links, and St. John's A.M.E. Church, where she was active on the usher board. Surviving are two cousins, Mrs. Ella Collins of New York City and George Jones Jr. of Norfolk. The body was taken to Morning Glory Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at St. John's A.M.E. Church Sunday at 1:15 p.m. by the Rev. W.L. Hildebrand, pastor, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
