GREENSBORO, N.C. - Annie Barbee, 100, died May 18, 1987, in her home.

Mrs. Barbee, a Princess Anne County, Va. native, was a member of St. John AME 
Church, Virginia Beach. She was the widow of Louis Barbee.

Survivors include four daughters, Bernice Wilson of Virginia Beach, Mildred 
Powell and Marie Venable, both of Norfolk, and Lenora Riddick of Philadelphia; a 
son, Lewis E. Barbee of Greensboro; a sister, Vessa Cason of Norfolk; 15 
grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. John AME Church by the 
Rev. E.J. Terrell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be at 
2158 Haverford Drive, Chesapeake. A wake will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in graves 
Funeral Home, Norfolk.
