Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday May 7, 1950
Mrs. Maybelle Lassell Barber, 77, wife of Dr. Vincent Barber and daughter of 
the late Dr. William H. and Mrs. Virginia Merwin Lassell, a native of 
Northwest, a former resident of Jamaica, L.I., N.Y., and a resident of Norfolk 
for two years, died yesterday at 2 p.m. at a Norfolk hospital.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Dr. William V. Barber, of 
Virginia Beach; Vincent Lassell Barber, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Lassell W. 
Barber, of Richmond Hill, L.I., N.Y., and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 3:30 
p.m.
