A native of Middleton, N.C., he was a son of Garland and Mrs. Belle barber. Surviving are three sons, Army S. Sgt. Harold Barber of Maine and Garland barber and Willie Lee Barber of Trenton, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Flonnie Green of Belhaven, N.C.; and four brothers, Tommy barber of New York, Edmond Barber of Hyde County, N.C., Wilber Barber of Chesapeake and Belroe Barber of Norfolk. The body is at Fitchett Funeral Home. Additional Comments: NORFOLK – A funeral service for Royden Barber of 513 Clay Ave. will be held today at 1 p.m. in Mother Church of God in Christ, Goff Street, by the Elder Herman Clark. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Fitchett Funeral Home in charge.
