PORTSMOUTH - Carolyn Ann Savage Barber, of the 2500 block of Bird Lane, died 
July 15, 1989.

Mrs. Barber, a native of Norfolk, was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church, 
Norfolk.

Survivors include her father, James F. Savage of Norfolk; and two brothers, Dr. 
James E. Savage Jr. of Washington, D.C., and Ralph M. Savage of Virginia Beach.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Queen Street Baptist 
Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be placed in the 
church at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Friends may join the family at the home of her 
father at 2703 Marlboro Ave., Norfolk. Hale Funeral Home is handling 
arrangements.
