CHESAPEAKE - Charles Lee Barber, 28, of 2517 Malcom Court, the husband of Mrs.
Regina S. Barber and a native of Philadelphia, died Monday in his home.

He was a son of Charles R. and Mrs. Eleanor Barber.

He worked for IBM Corp in Norfolk and was a Vietnam veteran of the Army.

He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and attended Norfolk State
College. He was to have graduated in June.

He was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include several cousins.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Queen Street Baptist Church by
the Rev. J. Jasper Freeman. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Chatman Funeral
Home in charge. The body will be in church at 11 a.m. Saturday. Visitation at the
funeral home will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. The family will be at the home of A.D.
Crenshaw of 4515 Newport Ave.
