Norfolk - Theodore Barber Sr., of the 800 block of Washington avenue, died
Tuesday, July 13, in a hospital.

A Virginia Beach native, he was a self-employed shoe repairman for 30 years and
the son of the late Mrs. Roseland Barber and the husband of the late Mrs.
Mildred Barber.

Among the survivors are two sons, Theodore Barber Jr., of Baltimore, MD, and
Maurice W. Barber of Norfolk; and two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Townes and Mrs.
Wilhelmina Flemming of Norfolk.

Services were held Sunday July 18 in the First Church of Christ Holiness.
Interment followed at the Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home was in charge of
the preparations.
