Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - December 25, 2016
 Norfolk - Herbert H. Barbour , III, 62, journeyed to heaven on Sunday, 
December 18, 2016. He was the only son of the late Herbert H. Barbour , Jr. 
and Mary E. Barbour . He is survived by his sister, Marcina B. Cherry, three 
nieces, two nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. A graduate of Norview 
High School and Norfolk State College (now University). Mr. Barbour spent 
most of his career working for the Commissioner of the Revenue for the City 
of Norfolk. He was a lifelong member of Queen Street Baptist Church and a 
member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. A homecoming service will be held 
December 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the historic Queen Street Baptist Church. 
Viewing at Graves Funeral Home will be 1 pm-6 pm on December 28, 2016.
