The Virginian-Pilot, Tuesday, November 5, 1985

NORFOLK - Ada B. Barbour of 1232 Hansen Ave., a native of Elizabeth City, N.C., 
and the widow of Herbert Barbour, died Sunday in a hospital.

Mrs. Barbour was a retired grocery-store owner and a Baptist.

Survivors include two sisters, Rosalyn Russell of East Orange, N.J., and Iris 
Baker of Norfolk; and three brothers, Roy Brothers of Philadelphia, William 
Brothers of West Hempstead, N.Y., and Exum Brothers of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Graves Funeral Chapel by Dr. 
Richard A. Council. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be at 
2516 West Ave., Norfolk.
