Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 11, 1916

Mrs. Mary L. Barco, widow of the late Jonathan L. Barco, died at 6:55 o'clock last 
night at the home of her son-in-law, W.A. Egts, 114 East Seventeenth Street.  She 
was 76 years of age.  The funeral will be held at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning at 
the residence.  Services will be conducted by Rev. W.H. Atwood.  Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.  She is survived by four sons, W.S. and J.L. Barco of Norfolk; 
J.B. Barco of Baltimore; B.M. Barco of Mill Creek, W. Va.; one daughter, Mrs. W.A. 
Egts of Norfolk; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
