Norfolk Virginian Pilot August 12, 1952

               J.B. Barco, 85, Dies; Sanitary Inspector at Beach

Jonathan Beasley Barco, 85, son of Jonathan and Mary Beasley Barco, died at the 
Virginia Beach Hospital yesterday at 5:10 p.m.  He is survived by two nieces, 
Miss Tassie Egts, of Virginia Beach, and Mrs. Hallie Goodwin, of Norfolk; a 
nephew, John E. Egts; two great nieces, Miss Betty Jane Egts and Mrs. Wilson 
King and a great nephew, Watty Goodwin, all of Norfolk.
Mr. Barco was a native of Princess Anne County and resided at 2812 Pacific 
Avenue, Virginia Beach.  Mr. Barco was sanitary inspector for Virginia Beach and 
was a member of Atlantic Lodge No. 2, A.F. & A.M., for 50 years, Charity Lodge 
No. 10, K. of P., Fraternal Order of Eagles and Merchant Marine Association.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at noon.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
