Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 11, 1949

Mrs. Ella M. Barcroft, sister of Mrs. Logan McCloud, of Norfolk and wife of the 
late Charles Herbert Barcroft, died in Washington yesterday morning.
Besides Mrs. McCloud she is survived by a foster daughter, Miss Jean Cabler, of 
Washington and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barcroft was a native of Norfolk 
residing here about 40 years before moving to Washington.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Ella Mae Barcroft – Burial services for Mrs. Barcroft were conducted at the 
grave in Elmwood Cemetery yesterday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. P. Rowland Wagner, 
pastor of the Central Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted in 
Washington, D.C., on Friday.
