ANNAPOLIS - Mrs. Adele Augusta Barge, 75, of Annapolis died Friday in Naval 
Academy Hospital. She was the widow of Cicero Barge.

Mrs. Barge was the daughter of Mills and Mrs. Lucretia Saunders Sumner. She was 
a member of Mt. Moriah AME Zion Church.

Surviving are a son, John Barge of Norfolk; two daughters, Mrs. Lucretia Snowden 
of Annapolis and Mrs. Caldonia Johnson of Annapolis; two brothers, William 
Euwell of New York and Ernest Sumner of Annapolis; 10 grandchildren; and 11 
great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Mt. Moriah AME Zion Church. 
Burial will be Wednesday in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk.
