Joseph K. Barge Died After Long Illness

NORFOLK _ Joseph K. Barge, 73, died at the residence, 2503 Hale St., Friday at 
9:10 a.m. after a long illness.

He was the son of the late William and Mrs. Callie Barge, and the husband of 
Mrs. Georgia Barge.

A native of Fayetteville, N.C., he had lived in Norfolk for over 50 years. He 
was employed by the Queen Street Market for 12 years and was a member of Grace 
Protestant Episcopal Church.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.
