Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, February 6, 1999 
Berly E. Barge of the 1200 block of Underwood Ave. died Feb. 3, 1999, in a local
hospital.

Born in Norfolk, he was a retired warehouse clerk with Nesson Sales Co. Mr.
Barge also served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Barge; a son, James Garfield Barge III of
Norfolk; two sisters, Celestine Bailey of Richmond and Kim Williamson of
Orlando, Fla.; and four brothers, Gene Barge of Chicago, Ill., Arthur Barge of
Silver Spring, Md., Milton Barge of Baltimore, Md., and Wendall Barge of
Newllano, La. He was predeceased by a sister.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday at St. Mark RZUA Church by the Rev.
Alvin Ben Thomas. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Graves Funeral Home is in
charge. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Friends may join the
family at 803 Diploma Court, Virginia Beach.
