Norfolk Virginian January 19, 1897

Mrs. Susan V. Barham died suddenly Sunday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock at the 
home of her son, Mr. B.T. Barham, on Avenue A, aged 55 years.  The funeral 
took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery.  
Rev. R. A. Robinson, of Colley Memorial Presbyterian Church, officiated.  The 
deceased was the widow of the late Thomas Barham, who died suddenly at the 
same place a few weeks ago.
