Miss Barham was the daughter of the late W.R. and Mrs. Alberta K. Barham of Norfolk and had many friends here and in Newport News, to which city she moved eight years ago to live with her sister. A native of Norfolk, she had lived in this city up to the time she made her home in Newport News. She was a former member of the Freemason Street Baptist. Church and active in church work. She was prominent in musical circles and in woman's club activities. Miss Barham is survived by four sisters, Mrs. R.W. Whitehurst and Mrs. L.B. Myrick, both of Norfolk; Mrs. B.R. Gary and Mrs. Perry Epes of Newport News and one brother, William R. Barham of Norfolk. ************************************************************************ The funeral of Miss Alma Barham will take place in Newport News today at 11 a.m. at the home of her brother-in-law, Dr. B.R. Gary, 129 Thirty-third Street.
