Barham, wife of the late William R. Barham, died suddenly yesterday morning in her apartments in Newport News of heart failure. She was 62 years old. Mrs. Barham is survived by six children -Mrs. R.W. Whitehurst, Mrs. L.B. Myrick, Mrs. B.R. Gary, Misses Alma and Jessie Barham and William R. Barham. Prior to her residence in Newport News Mrs. Barham lived in Norfolk, where she was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at the residence of a son-in-;aw, R.W. Whitehurst, 609 Boissevain Avenue, Saturday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock. Friends and relatives have been invited. ALBERTA BARHAM TODAY Relatives And Friends Are Invited To Attend Services At 609 Boissevain Avenue All relatives and friends are invited to the funeral of Mrs. Alberta K. Barham at the home of her son-in-law, R.W. Whitehurst, 609 Boissevain Avenue, at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. She died suddenly in Newport News Thursday morning. Rev. Sparks W. Melton of Freemason Street Baptist Church, of which church Mrs. Barham was for many years a devout member, will conduct the services. He will be assisted by Rev. George W. Perryman of the First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery and will be private. Mrs. Barham was in her 63rd year. She was woman of lovely Christian character and had many friends. Six children are left - Mrs. R.W. Whitehurst, Mrs. B.R. Gary, Mrs. L.B. Myrick, Misses Alma and Jessie Barham and William R. Barham.
