Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Monday January 7, 1929 
T. Edwin Baird, M.D. died at a local hospital last night at 7 o'clock.  Besides 
his wife, Mrs. Martha E. Baird, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J.P. West, 
of Waverly and Mrs. Elija Moffett, of Wakefield and two brothers, Oscar H. 
Baird, of Norfolk and J.P. Baird, of Waverly.  Dr. Baird was a member of the 
Christian Temple, Norfolk Medical Society, Charity Lodge, K. of P. and Ruth 
Lodge, A.F. & A.M.
Funeral services will be held at the residence, 424 Clay avenue, Wednesday 
morning at 11 o'clock, the Rev. L.E. Smith, D.D., pastor of the Christian 
Temple, officiating.  Friends of the family are invited to attend.  Interment 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.  He was a native of Sussex County, Virginia, and a 
resident of Norfolk for the past 28 years.
