Norfolk Virginian June 29, 1883
The remains of Mr. Benjamin Barker, who was formerly a resident of Norfolk, and 
who died in Baltimore on the 27th instant, will arrive in this city today by the 
Bay Line boat. They will be met at the wharf by the friends and relatives of the 
deceased and carried thence to Elmwood for interment. Mr. Barker resided in 
Baltimore for the past ten or twelve years. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Robert 
Reid of this city.
