He was a native of Richmond but had been a resident of Norfolk for 35 years. Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. John Hayworth, of Miami, Fla., and Mrs. E. Horton, of New York City; three sons, James N., Lee J., and Robert H. Barker, of Norfolk; a half sister, Mrs. Georgia Davis, of Norfolk, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11 o'clock at the Derry Home for Funerals, 1615 Colonial avenue. The Rev. W.H. Garman, pastor of Old Zion Christian Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
