George John Barket, age 53 years, husband of Mary George Barket, and son of the 
late John, and Catherine Barket, a native of Syria and for the past 12 years, a 
resident of Norfolk, died last night at 11 o'clock at a local hospital. Besides 
his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Waddet George Barket, Mrs R. B. 
Hodges, and the Misses Zella George, and Ann George Barket, three sons, B. George, 
Nabbie George, and Joe George Barket, all of Norfolk, and one sister, Mrs. John 
Morin, of North Adams, Mass., and ten grandchildren. Remains will be taken from 
the residence, 1001 Forty-third street, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, for 
funeral services tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
