LEONARD BARKS SR.

NORFOLK - Leonard Barks Sr. of 1348 W. 42nd St., the husband of Mrs. Eva Barks, 
died Sunday in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late Charlie and Mrs. Mattie Barks.

He worked at Norfolk Naval Air Station.  He was an usher of St. Mary's Catholic 
Church and a committeeman of the Cub Scouts.

Besides his widow, surviving are three sons, Leonard Barks Jr. of Portsmouth, and 
Alfred Barks and Michael Barks of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Latney of 
Walkerton, Va.; and eight grandchildren.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.
