He had nearly attained the allotted period of three score years and ten. As a mechanic he had very few, if any, superiors. He built the Willoughby mansion near Northwest and the elegant and substantial mechanism of this building fully confirms his ability. His aged wife, who has shared with him life’s joys and sorrows, and six children are left to mourn his death. His peculiar individuality may have been of a repellent nature to some, but as a consistent law-abiding citizen, he was the peer of any man. At his residence today at 2 o’clock his funeral will take place.
