DEATH OF MRS BARNARD
Mrs. Martha Barnard died at the residence of her son, Mr. Henry Barnard, on Main 
Street, yesterday morning at 4 o'clock, after a long illness, in the 70th year 
of her age.  She leaves two sons, Messrs. W.H. and Henry Barnard, her husband 
having preceded her about two years ago.  Notice of funeral later.

The funeral of Mrs. Martha Barnard took place yesterday at 4 o'clock, from the 
residence of her son on Main Street.  Rev. Robert Gatewood officiated.  The 
remains were entered in Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk.
