Norfolk - Mrs. Eula Mae Barnes, 62, of 312 Graydon avenue, who died Feb. 8 in a 
hospital, was given final rites Monday in Antioch Baptist Church by the Rev. J. 
M. Matthews.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Warren Funeral Home in charge.

A native of South Mills, she was a daughter of Henry and Mrs. Mary Johnson and 
the widow of James Barnes.  She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Surviving are five daughters, Miss Willie Mae Barnes of Boston and Mrs. Vivian 
Stephney, Miss Dora Barnes, Miss Lessie Barnes, and Miss Evone Barnes of 
Norfolk;  four sons, John Henry Barnes , Cherry O. Barnes, James Barnes and 
Hampton Barnes of Norfolk;  two brothers, Cleveland Johnson and Alfonso Johnson 
of Norfolk;  20 grandchildren;  and 18 great grandchildren.
