Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday April 9, 1938
Stewart Cole Barnes, 15-months-old son of Lloyd E. and Mrs. Lottie Miller Barnes, 
died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 8:03 o'clock after an illness of two 
weeks.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Jane Barnes, 
Mary Barnes and Margaret Branes and five brothers, George, Richard, Lloyd E. Jr., 
Willian and Joseph Barnes, all of Norfolk.  
The body was taken to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro., Westover avenue at 
Manteo street, pending completion of funeral arrangements.
