NORFOLK - Harold Barnes, 73, of 870 C. Ave., died Tuesday in a hospital after a long
illness.

A native of Franklin, he was a son of Frank P. and Mrs. Mamie Johnson Barnes.

He was retired from White Iron Co.

Surviving are a son, Frankie Barnes, a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Erma Powell, two
brothers, Rufus Barnes and Raymond Barnes, and a sister, Mrs. Inez Smith, all of
Norfolk; and five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in B.F. King Funeral Home by the
Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The family will be at 765 A. Ave.
