NORFOLK - Mrs. Thelma E. Barnes of 1342 Reservoir Ave. died Thursday in a 
hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mrs. Louise Green 
and the wife of Benjamin Barnes.

She was a member of Stewardess Board 1 of Greater Metropolitan AME Church.

Besides her husband, surviving are a son, Joseph C. Roberts, a stepson, Arthur 
Barnes, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruth Barnes Hicks, all of Norfolk; and two 
grandchildren.

The Body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.
