The Virginian-Pilot, Thursday, October 19, 1978

NORFOLK - Robert Barnes of 859 Avenue A., a native of Norfolk, died Monday in a 
hospital.

Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Hattie Mae Barnes of Norfolk; and two sisters, 
Mrs. Lucille Vaughan of Norfolk and Mrs. Roberta V. Bailey of New York.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.

NORFOLK - A funeral for Robert Barnes of 859 Avenue A will be held Monday at 11 
am. in Graves Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in 
Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at his home.
